Just quiet, really and catching up with my reading after the exhibition of the hobby club two weeks ago. Iíll finish The Well of Loneliness at lunchtime and post my comments this evening. Looking forward to reading what you thought of it.

Just testing the waters here, and I know it's only half a year since the last one, but would anyone be interested in doing another Good Read in the coming months? I think I've been involved in all of them so far, and I don't mind not being this time if there are many takers, but I'd certainly join in somehow or other and it occurred to me that it might be a nice thing to do.

You don't want to read Lolita, do you?  I am about to start that (read the prologue last night), though it will be a slow read, as I will need to read my book club book too, and I don't spent enough time on my books.

Yes, absolutely. I've been wondering recently if it was time to reread it. We'd need to find a third party who was willing read it too (easier said than done).

Just bumping this again in case any other people would like to join me in reading something together in the next few months. I'm planning to join Ann in Mrs Dalloway presently, but it would be nice to be in a gang again.

Yes it would be very interesting to have others to add their own take on this. Please join in even if you've read it before  Very Happy

Yes, if anyone here would like to join us for Mrs Dalloway, the more the merrier!

But if anyone would like to do another Good Read-format thing separately from that, where three people each pick a book and we read them together, then just let me know. I'm usually up for that. Well, I am at the moment anyway.

I'll join in - have read it, but will read it again - I love that book, but always good to refresh the details in the mind!
