Please use this thread to post any questions you may have about the new board - we are all still learning how to use this new board, but will do our best to answer them!

Hello Evie,

Well done on the new board - to you and the others.

I probably shan't post too much but I always enjoy reading what others have to say.

I wish the board all the best. It seems an age since the BBC days and a genuine case of doors opening as others close!

One thing - there seems to be no way of uploading a picture from my HD as my avatar. That's to say there's nothing on which to click to start the process. Any help, please?

Cool

There should be a grey button that says Browse, which will let you choose a picture from your hard drive - there is on my page anyway. Not sure what else to suggest...

Yes, it's there, but having selected the picture from my hard drive and then clicked "submit" it won't upload .

Oh dear.

Cool

Could it be that your picture is too big? The specifications are:

Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 250 pixels, the height no greater than 250 pixels, and the file size no more than 24 KB.

I don't know, just a thought.... I certainly had no problem loading my Dracula picture!

You do realise, Greywolf, that since I am Count Dracula, I can change myself into a grey wolf whenever I want....

As I understood it, chum, Bram Stoker killed you off, Chris Lee revamps or no.

So you're doing a great job speaking from beyond the grave. But you have no powers to frighten me...
