MERRY CHRISTMAS 2016

Best wishes to everyone.

I've really enjoyed the posts this year.  Although the number of posts might have decreased, the quality hasn't diminished.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Same here, all you wonderful people. I look forward to spending another year in your company.

Here in the real world, we are hosting two of our adult children and one significant other for breakfast. And our new grand dog. Things could be worse.

Christmas is well over here and we celebrated it mostly earlier because our children living nearby left with their children for a trip to Britain on December 14.  We then celebrated Xmas quietly on our own at a nearby lodge/resort place where my husband went for walks and we drove along our lovely area with bush [forest] and seaviews and old wooden buildings and sheds.  Lovely.
Marita

Didn't get round to wishing you all a Merry Christmas. Instead I wish you all

a Happy New Year 2017.

My New Year's resolution: to contribute a bit more to this board again.

Rebecca

I have been absent for so long and have just spent an hour browsing your posts. I have missed you all!

A lot has happened but I am back, so happy new year to you all.

Welcome back, Rebecca! Good to see you. (Formerly Yasmin, yes?) The board's the same, though the people are fewer in number...

Yes, you're right. I changed my name legally as a sort of full stop to kicking cancer's butt!

Welcome back from me too, Rebecca/Yasmin.  I was reluctant to add anything (and indeed originally wiped what I had written) since it would mean my name was on the thread instead of yours, but then I thought I could request you to add something so your name was there again.  Can you do that, please?  Sorry to hear you have had cancer, but it sounds as if you have come through it successfully.

We both kicked butt. Lymphoma in my case. I have to have one more session this month but after four chemo sessions I was already clear.
Kicking cancer butt feels great, even when you don't feel great.

I am so glad you are back, Rebecca/Yasmin.  I was thinking about you a couple of months ago and fearing the worse as we hadn't heard from you.  I'm am so pleased that you are back and so positive.

Also, I'm pleased about your news, Marita.
