Lost Title

IĎve forgotten the title and author of a novel about the artists colony at Boskenna Cornwall established before WW1. The novelís cover had a reproduction of a woman on a horse from the painting by Alfred Munnings. Laura Knight and Munnings were two of the members of the colony and the woman was a friend down from London. I am sure the title was something like February in Summer but I canít find it in a library catalogue or on Google. Has anyone heard of this novel Ė if they havenít, I can always read a non-fiction account of the events!

I've drawn a blank on this one, but you could try contacting someone via the Laura Knight website: http://www.damelauraknight.com/index.html

I've lost a book title too.  I read a book when I was a young teenager about two dragons, one red and one white.  I think they were brothers.....anyway the ending was amazingly sad and really affected me.  I can still remember parts of the book now but can I remember the title or the author......no!   Rolling Eyes

If anyone knows this book I would be eternally grateful.....

Very Happy Brilliant Chib. I've just had an e-mail from Knight's great nephew who supplied all the relevant details. The title is Summer in February by Jonathan Smith. It's obviously been withdrawn from our local library;it's only 6 years since I read it.

Oh, good. It looked an impressive website so I thought they'd be quite clued up about Laura Knight books. Glad that mystery's solved. I've got no idea about Miranda's, though...

Oh well......

One day I will find it....
