I'm embarrassed to say just how appallingly badly I did on this... Time to read the Bible, I think.

Hello Verity, good to see you!  This was posted on another thread a few days ago, but I have no idea which one!

I got 9/10, and guessed wrongly on the one about the novel - I very nearly guessed right, but tried to be too clever!  But that one isn't about knowledge of the Bible - though it is about knowledge of literature, I suppose.

I got 9/10 too Evie - got the Lucifer question wrong. Just found that you'd posted it on another thread, sorry! The one about 'well read'. Am about to post there.
Evie

Oh yes, that's where it was!

Have you voted in the Cup, Verity?  You could be the one to prevent there being any ties in this round!!
verityktw

Yes, I did vote, but I think I managed to balance more ties than I concluded! It's very sad that B.S. Johnson is on the way out.
Gino

I scored 5/10 a combination Biblical and literature ignorance.
Hector

9\10. A Mixture of knowledge and guess work!

My great grandmother (circa 1855) had a large bible with a lockable clasp with room to contain family details for about 20 children.
It also contained coloured illustrations of infants about to be divided, temples being destroyed by Sampson and magical witting appearing to Nebuchadnezzar.
Can any one identify the originals from which these illustrations were derived.
