Belgian graphic design studio beshart was able to unite 100 artists from 28 countries in a unique co-creation project. Each artist (re)designed a poster sized cover for a book from The Observer's "The 100 greatest Novels of All Times". Their aim, to raise awareness for the problem of illiteracy.

I had fun looking at the covers; trying to figure out the ones that aren't obvious - without much success, I have to admit.

Many of them are very beautiful - e.g. Nostromo. And fascinating. So much more gorgeous than most book covers these days.
