You can lead a horticulture, but you can't make her think. That's right, isn't it?

Lots of people here love the world of nature. Perhaps we should have a group read. But which book to choose? Some thoughts:

James and the Giant Beech

My Sister's Creeper

The Inheritance of Moss

King Solomon's Pines

The Quince and the Pauper

Anemone of the People

A Prayer for Owen Peony

Ripley's Bayleaf It or Not

The Three Stomata of Farmer Eldritch

Add as (in)appropriate.

THE ASPEN PAPERS
THYME AND THE CONWAYS
LILY LIAR
THE FLOWER AND THE GLORY
BRIGHTON STOCK
PRIVET LIVES

Thistle probably be an unwelcome contribution, but I did mention it in my first post.

Damn! I feel like a right fool now!

I'll think of a few in good time, I'm sure ... Once I stop feeling brain-dead after another mind-sapping day in the office...

I think it just proves that great minds think alike Smile  I wonder now if this was a bad thread to start. I've been trying to think of more and my mind's utterly blank. I'm sure someone can help me out.

That may be inexcusable.

ALYSSUM IN WONDERLAND
THE TELL-TALE ARTICHOKE
OH WHISTLE AND I'LL COME TO YEW MY LAD
THE LONELINESS OF THE LONG-DISTANCE RUNNER-BEAN
